The Shoot
We could not have ordered better weather for the shoot. It was a cool, bright sunny day without a cloud in the sky. Over 20 shooters participated in the rifle matches and ten or so stayed after lunch for the pistol matches.

Chuck Collins prepared his great hotdog and beans lunch including kraut and chili and a special treat from Newt- Haggis! We were ready for this year's crowd and had plenty on hand for all.

Stan Gurski and Steve Serna ran the line, Tom Plante handled registration and scoring. Although we had several regulars missing, we still had a great turnout and a fine match.

Here is a summary of the shoot:

We had winner of the "Rosie the Riveter" Trophy. Darlene F. shot an oustanding 38 with her grandfather's .32 Auto in the OSS Match.

We also had a young shooter participate, but he failed to turn in a target. He and his father were on the range shooting his Thompson.

Polish Campaign - John M. won this event with a very decent 95-1X in spite of having no other competitors in the match.

Steve S won a the BAR match shooting a 100-5X. Amazing, since the next highest score was also in the high 90's

In handgun events Steve S still dominated but had a tie with Mark B in the OSS Match. Steve also won the Allied Auto, shooting a 90 with his Colt 1911 and Steve also took Allied revolver with a 38 Victory. Andy G. won the Axis Auto with a P-38,

This year, Sniper went to newcomer Kurt E using his '03-A4. He was just off Dead-X mark with a 5/X.

If any of the participants see any errors or misspellings please respond so I can correct for publication and posting on the internet.
