ANJRPC CHERRY RIDGE RANGE
Highland Lakes, NJ -- Off Canistear Road, 4 Mi. North of Rt. 23

The Arms Collectors would like to publicly thank the Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs for the use of their Cherry Ridge Range Facility, located near Vernon, NJ. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we could not hold this shoot without their greatly appreciated help.

On Saturday January 17, 2022, the New Jersey Arms Collectors Club (NJACC) sponsored its
26th Annual Historical Winter Firearms Match
in honor of the American men and women who endured the rigors of winter combat from Valley Forge to Korea and to allow participants to demonstrate their personal \ marksmanship skills using the relics of history.

The annual NJACC Winter Shoot or rendezvous was held at Cherry Ridge on Jan 15th, 2022. Weather was cold and clear with bright sun and no wind. Temperatures hovered around 3 degrees. Mark H. shooting a Brown Bess & a Kentucky Flinter reported: "It was so cold my shooting glasses did not fog up . . .THEY FROSTED UP!"

The matches covered every era in US Military History
from the Revolutionary War through the Present Era.

Shooters were encouraged to particpate "in uniform" if possible.

Twenty hearty souls participated in the day's matches. We had seventeen men and three women. The Master of Ceremonies and Shoot Chairman was Paul Pruss who handled shoot setup and registration. Paul was accompanied by his wife Kathy who provided the much appreciated refreshments.

Kathy manned the Snack Bar which provided
Hot Apple Cider, Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate and Venison Stew
in addition to home-made corn muffins and donuts. Stan Gurski served as Range Safety Officer, and ran the shoot.

Based on the Targets Turned In these are the results:
